Received dirty and worn Nike Dunks

I recently purchased a pair of Nike Dunks. The condition they came was disappointing. The shoes were filthy and had been worn. And mind you I paid R2600. The quality and overall feel was disappointing. I even question if they were original. They had no packaging around them or tissue paper inside. I returned them immediately. Struggling to understand how no quality control was done?
