Promised timely delivery but nothing

This online store promised to deliver BEFORE the 23rd of December 2015. I was happy with this as this delivery is a Christmas gift for someone in another province. But nothing ever came by the 23rd, then they promised delivery on the 24th again nothing arrived. They then email at 3.30pm today saying they may not deliver before or on christmas with no explanation other then its the couriers fault. They do not answer any calls. I do not feel that they had any intention of every delivering in time as there are many other people with the same complaints.
