Defective goods
I bought my husband the Armani Exchange watch in July his birthday is in Sept using a coupon code ( 40% off). I had the item on watch for a while and knew what I wanted, with the 6 month return on defective goods and 2 year guarantee I thought I was in good hands.I gifted it to him on his 40th on 21.09.19. The problem is that in spite of bringing it up to date it falls behind. I've adjusted it a few times and I wanted to return it before, even logged returns, but thought that may be fine once he starts to wear it. I gifted it to him and he loved the watch. Thereafter, as there was no reason to wear the watch, as my husband's job demands casuals and this is a designer watch, he wore it to a wedding on the 2.11.19, he complained after wearing it that it feels a bit warm to the skin and we don't look at it everyday day but soon enough the date goes off. If this watch needs to be worn constantly so that it works properly then this is a disappointment. This watch was bought to be worn on special occasions only. My husband has been wearing a watch since his teens and never has a watch felt warm to the skin. My husband has no medical condition that could make this possible. I was more than happy with its look and appearance, weight and price but the performance is disappointing. Thought it's a good upgrade from Fossil as my husband owns 2. Im unhappy with the watch and I don't feel I should be burdened with a watch that is faulty. I dont want to buy another Armani exchange watch as im not happy with the brand. I was told that even though they have 6 month faulty or defective goods return policy I must wait up to 21 Days for the watch to be repaired. How can I agree to a watch that is brand new unworn being repaired inspite of being within the 6 month period. Superbalist agents send me standard terms and conditions and are not helpful.
