Courier Hi-Jacked - Self Management of Solution

So, 2 weeks ago I placed my first order on Superbalist. I used the coupon code to get R250 off my first order. I said I would collect the order from Takealot, Parow. This was Thursday 12 Oct '17. It said my collection would be ready at 17:00 on the following Tuesday 17 Oct '17.

On the 17th I got the following email: "I regret to inform you that we have just been notified that our couriers delivering your parcel for the below item has been involved in a hi-jacking, I have made a replacement order and it will be delivered asap." I rep**** saying I hope the driver is okay.

Later that week, I think Thursday (a week after original order), I called in to find out about the replacement order (This is where my story becomes a complaint). The call centre agent said that there is no more stock, so she will have to refund me. Strange this is only realised when I call in. I said rather credit my account so I can place another order. She said yes. I received my credit :-)

I called Monday as my coupon code didn't work for the R250 off, the guy said it should have but all cool cause he will get his super to send me another one and this takes time. Wednesday I called again and the Siobhan, really sweet and understanding, said the same thing.

Despite the occurrences, it's been 2 weeks and my order isn't even dispatched yet. How can it take 3 working days (supposedly) for my order to travel across the country, but over a week for a manager to email a coupon code...?

I'll delete the app after this purchase as I have also done a few comparisons in physical shops, where you walk out of the store with what you paid for, and Superbalist seems to be more expensive in any case.
