Canceling orders without consent or notification
I'm usually an avid supporter of Superbalist, but not today. Purchased a gift prior to lockdown. Delivery was scheduled for 24 March. Nothing came. No phone call, nothing. The system showed that delivery was attempted but that I couldn't be reached, this was a lie as nobody attempted contacting me, and people were home to receive the delivery.
Upon following up on Friday about where my delivery was, I was told that my order was cancelled and returned to the warehouse, and that my account was refunded the funds. I have yet to receive this refund which was stated to have happened on 5 May 2020. Who gives you the right to just cancel my order after I've paid? Where is the proof your courier has attempted calling me, as I see no records on my mobile number that you have attempted calling at all. Was there no notification process to let your customer know this order was canceled? At no point was anything communicated to me until I followed up yesterday. I am completely disappointed and angry at how this has all been handled.
