SUPERBETS DURBAN *****ING PEOPLE'S WINNINGS

I am writing this review with a heavy heart. Last week Friday, February 21 - a friend of mine (Vusi Buthelezi) played matches with Superbets (Durban branch) for weekend matches and won R1 662.49. He went back to claim his money on Monday only to be told by the employees there that he's only going to get a R1 114 instead of R1 662.49 he deserves.

Apparently, the Superbets system showed one match as being cancelled/postponed as Superbets pencilled for Saturday but the match was playing on Sunday in Romania. So, what's happening is that they couldn't give me his winnings because the game was postponed and it was only after he proved with the result that the match did take place but on a different day that they admitted it was an error on their part as the system pencilled it for Saturday instead of Sunday.

This is Superbets' mistake (deliberate or not) and it's none of my friend's business that they made that kind of mistake and shouldn't affect his winnings in any way. Now, my friend rightfully rejected the money offered to him inside the Superbets branch. What we have gathered from interacting with football fans who play matches with Superbets is that this is what has happened to the majority of them. And it's a disgrace that a reputable betting company such as Superbets would ***** people's winnings the way they're doing. I am calling it '*****ing' because they even failed to provide my friend with their terms and conditions and told him to go google them - this was after being told there are terms and conditions which say they have the right not to pay for whatever reason. Google them? Really? Is that how Superbets does its business with its customers?

Now, we want Superbets to come forward and rectify their mistake and pay my friend what's due to him and more as compensation for this trauma or there will be huge ramifications before the end of the week. People sacrifice their hard-earned money but if there's someone behind the ****gery actions then that person and Superbets must account.

If this is found to be something Superbets deliberately does to avoid paying its customers what's due to them then they've got another thing coming. Over to you Superbets.
