So, last year during the IPL seaon in India, I noticed that the odds for any player scoring a 100 in that particular t20 game were very high. I took my chance and placed a bet that there would be no player scoring a centrury. Bear in mind that chances of a 100 being scored by an individual batsman in a t20 match a very slim.
So, I played this very high odd, said there would be no player scoring a 100. Remember, the odds were such that if you bet that No Century Scored, you would win more money than the opposite.
So, I bet that No Century Scored but Shane Watson scored a 100 and I lost that bet.
Again, in a different match the odds were still very high for No Century Scored vs Century Scored.
I played again in two different matches, the odds were still 6.00 for No Century Scored. In both these matches, no batsman had scored a 100. So, Supabets deposited that huge amount of money in my Supabets account.
The following day, they realised that Oh, No! Hang on! The odds for No Century Score (which were 6.00) were a big mistake.
They reversed all the money they had put in my Supabets account. I wrote to them and they kept trying to explain their rules which made no sense to me. Even called me to apologise and promise that the mistake would be looked at very carefully. Said I also should have seen that the odds were a "mistake"
Surely, gambling / sport betting companies cannot reverse monies when it suits them.
