Cancellation of Tickets

i played soccer and said home team is going to win half time and the home team won so i was supposed to be paid R1000 and the other ticket R 100 but they were cancelled and i was told they made a mistake and they had to cancel all the tickets betted on a specific time. if it their mistake why are they penalizing the customers they supposed to pay because it is their fault not the customer fault. i talked to a lot of people including supervisors but this problem is still unsolved.
