Unprofessional disgusting non compliance to reasonable written and signed instructions

Arrive in JHB last night to no delivery of our entire lives..clothes..cooking materials..blankets..beds.. nothing!! We stated delivery to be made 31st of May as we were arriving in JHB.. they say at best we can expect our things next week Monday!! *** are we supposed to do until then?? We had to go buy a blow up matress.. bedding.. eat out as we don't have any cooking things. We relocated to JHB from CT for work and I have interviews set up.. but I can't attend as I have none of my clothes, none of my make up.. laptop etc!!! Disgusting!

Dear Ms. Fabre,

A very good day to you!

Please forgive me, but I honestly believe your comments are unreasonable, considering that our Cape Town manager, Mr. Mike Kitshoff personally explained to Mr. Schedel that our vehicles are scheduled to depart on weekends for delivery early in the new week.

With all due respect, please know that your consignment was quoted and accepted on a part-load basis, with the understanding that delivery would be planned and effected at the earliest opportunity.

Kindly note that at 80km/h it takes our vehicles approximately 2 days of traveling to reach Johannesburg from Cape Town, so it is totally unreasonable to expect a delivery within a day or two of collection from the one province to the next.

We are saddened by the fact that you would report this matter on a public forum when this information was so clearly explained to you from the onset.

We shall do what we can to try and accommodate the earliest delivery possible

With best regards,

Mel Potgieter

Good day.

I didn't think stuttafords would take responsibility for this..it's just what was to be expected from the ********** service we have received. The quoted price which was paid to stuttafords was definitely not for a part load and we had not at any point other than the day before we were scheduled to move, were we informed, at 17h20 that : a. It's a part load and b. That it would not arrive when we had, as per the form filled in and signed, that we requested delivery on the 31st. I have family in the logistics industry and am fully aware that our request, requested well in advance, is possible for a 24 hour delivery to JHB.. certainly not 6 days!! So yes.. this is being taken to social media as everyone should be made aware of this and should not consider using stuttafords for home removals!! So with all due respect.. this service from stuttafords.. is UNREASONABLE !

Dear Ms. Fabre,

In this instance, we did not consider your consignment a commercial load, nor did you pay for the Exclusive Use of our Vehicle. Please consider that your consignment only comprised approximately 16% of our vehicle and therefore, your quotation was raised commensurately thereto.

Please note that we specialize in Household Removals, which for all intent and purposes, is not comparable to Commercial Transport, where there may be only one collection point for the load and where there may even be two drivers on a vehicle.

It is also ******* to allow drivers to travel 24 consecutive hours, so once again, we're not comparing apples with apples...

Kind regards,
