Theft of goods
<p>I used Stuttafords for my company relocation. I unfortuantely could not be present when they both loading and offloading my goods. Upon unpacking my goods found that a package that contained all my expesnive perfiumes, which were unopened, was missing, which had been packed with some of my personal items and toiletries .- Have tried to sort it out with them, and was sent from pillar to post, and told tht they could nto cover it or replace it, as I had not indicated on the cover form. However it seems strange to me that that just that would go missing, whilst eberything in the cotainer was there, meaning that person who stole it knew that it ould not be covered.</p>

I have investigated this matter and was informed that two of our managers actually packed at your residence in Cape Town and neither one of them actually came across the perfumes as you have indicated.
As we simply do not tolerate theft or allegations thereof, I would have NO hesitation to have them undergo polygraph tests to prove their innocence, should you require these tests. Please advise and I shall action accordingly

Hi, thank you for your response and feedback. At this stage, it seems strange to me that this is being proposed, especially at such a late stage of the investigation. However happy to go ahead with the proposed suggestion. What would the outcome of it be though?

My concern is that we were only notified of the missing items a month after delivery and it has been my experience that during this time, other factors may come into play that would cause additional risk. For instance other people having access to your consignment
When I learnt that the two managers packed your consignment, I was immediately sceptical about our involvement in this alleged theft, so to prove their (our) innocence, I am happy to incur the expense of the tests.
Should they be found to be deceptive, I would assume you would lay a charge of Theft against the individuals and ask the SAPS to investigate the matter further.
So, to confirm... I shall go ahead and arrange the Polygraph tests and revert with the results as soon as possible
