Terrible! Do not use Stuttaford Van Lines!

Do yourselves a favour and save yourself the agony by not using Stuttaford Van Lines. My experience was terrible at best, and I see here that others had similar experiences too. I wish I had come to Hellopeter before deciding to use them for my move. The movers do not handle your items with care. Packed boxes are thrown instead of carried with normal care. This resulted in my glass items smashed. My new wooden couch was dragged on the pavement, resulting in severe drag and scratch marks. Looks like they will carry items until they are out of your sight then drag it on the floor. My fridge was severely dented as well. Moreover, my expensive musical instrument was left in a public space and forgotten to be placed on the truck! Luckily my building security picked it up after the movers had already left! I raised a complaint to the company and was basically told since I did not take up their insurance offer it's not their problem. Completely unprofessional. What unfolded were not accidents, which is the purpose of insurance, but was a result of complete negligence by the movers! Basically, the message I got was, since I did not take up their insurance offer, they don't have to treat your items with care and complete negligence is simply okay.
