Stuttafords Van Lines potential *****s!

I approached Stuttafords Van Lines to handle my removal from Herm**** to their Storage (June 2020) and from their Storage to Ladysmith (9 July 2020). Most of expensive furniture were bubble wrapped and securely packed. I specified the Persian rugs (2 large, 2 small & mountable) and 2 cloth rugs. The rugs were packed and stored separately (individually) and ticked off on the inventory list as received.

On delivery at address in Ladysmith the 2 large rugs were unpacked individually, but the 4 small rugs were rolled up as one bunch (misdirection). As i unpacked the small rugs i discovered that one of the small Persian rugs were missing. Again the inventory list was ticked off from Storage to Ladysmith and on delivery at address. They also failed to deliver a ten seater table & extra large mirror - these items ( as big as a whale) were marked with my name on it. Impossible to not to notice them!

4 Times the rugs were ticked off as received!

I phoned ANDRE KNOETZE and reported the missing items. They found the ten seater table & extra large mirror but not the Persian rug. I am still waiting for them to deliver my table and mirror, it's at 3 months now.

I presume the Persian rug was ******. The value of the Persian rug is estimated at about R30 000.00.

I DON'T TRUST STUTTAFORDS VAN LINES. They invaded my privacy and stole my beautiful Persian rug! They don't exhibit any responsibility at all regarding clients property!
