Stuttaford van Lines takes NO responsibility
In November 2013 services were procured at Stuttaford van Lines to move furniture from Durban to Port Elizabeth. All goods were listed and loaded. In July 2015 when delivered there were missing items and this was reported . We were given run around for some days before we were given a claim form after few weeks. of which 3 to more weeks later we received a repudiation email in not even a letter head attached. The reason was simply that the R2722.28 monthly payment did not cover these items. Apparently they were not listed on the initial list although listed on the collected goods inventory list. They take no responsibility of your items if are not insured. Logically you can simply lose everything and they are not liable for loss from their storage which you also pay for. They have not even said they will investigate the matter in order for us to recover our loss. LICENCE TO COLLECT AND LOSE WITH NO OBLIGATION. THEY ARE ACTUALLY ******* AND I AM GOING TO FIGHT THIS TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL. I contacted the insurance ombudsman who clearly stated that insurance is not at fault for not completion of information. the information was sent through Stuttaford anyway. new EVIDENCE has EMERGED!!
This complaint is obviously most disturbing and I shall personally look into this matter in order to establish what transpired in this instance that would lead to your unhappiness.
Please accept our most humble apologies for the claim in the first place.
I shall be in contact with you as soon as possible
