Part 1 of “Stuttaford Van Lines are MEDIOCRE”!

<p>When you move from one city to another and ask your movers (in this case Stuttaford) to store your goods for 7 months, you get a very good idea of the company and you get a good chance of evaluating them each step of the way. </p> <p>Bottom line: they are mediocre, but please read on. </p> <p>As I have a lot to say about Stuttaford Van Lines, I have broken down my story in several chapters which I will be publishing on HelloPeter at regular intervals. If you want greater information, do contact me via FB and Twitter.</p> <p>I will also be publishing pictures and videos in order to document my experiences. </p> <p>I have served Stuttaford Cape Town with a letter of demand and the matter will be going to Court soon, so I will let you know the outcome of this, in case some of you decide to pursue the same route in the future. </p> <p>In this first episode, let me start by informing you that, before appointing Stuttaford, I did visit HelloPeter and read the complaints (and there are several) in order to make an informed decision. I also spoke to one of the directors Mel Potgieter to address my concers.</p> <p>He seems to be the guy who fights all the fires for Stuttaford on HelloPeter… Sadly, this did not help, as a lot of Stuttaford’s talk amounts to just lip service. </p> <p>Mr Potgieter’s approach to the many problems/complaints raised on HelloPeter is pretty standard; he first apologises for the inconvenience caused to customers and then explains to the audience how long the company has been in business and how great they are. </p> <p>Little is done to address the bad service and turn unhappy/disgruntled customers into happy ones. </p> <p>During my future postings, I will also highlight some of the positive aspects of the Stuttaford’s approach. Sadly, again, these positive aspects are shadowed by the overwhelming bad ones. </p> <p>Chat soon!</p>
