Useless and thieving service provider!!

Stss keeps playing a dangerous game with its customers, their "Smart Meters" were without a doubt sold to Estates under false pretenses. If your power is off, the area is off or even during loadshedding they will keep charging you. I was told by an Agent Gift, that the reason they are smart is because they are wifi enabled..... And its up to the estate manager to report any power outages to them (even loadshedding) for any sort of reimbur*****t. How can a smart meter still tick along charging you for power that you cannot even use?? I'm at The Blyde, we have had 3 Power Utility companies so far and the estate is basically new. This is seriously concerning and I don't think a third of the owners or tenants here know when or why they are being charged for power. @stss sort your stuff out. Or another petition can easily be written up to get you out of The Blyde.

Waiting on your reply STss, if this is not sorted out by today I will be going to the Estate Manager to log a official complaint.

Kindly be advised that the meters are owned by the BC and were installed prior to STss’ involvement.  Each of the meters exerts pulses which it then communicates to the STss server for billing, thus if there is no power in the complex there should be no electrical billing, but there can still be water and gas billing.  Should you experience electrical billing during power outages, it could be a delay on the system’s part relating to consumption ahead of the outage. All charges are confirmed with actual physical readings monthly.

Then I'll be in touch with the BC and Linda from STss to make sure you guys provide a white paper on exactly how your billing works. I spoken to many agents and they were not able to give me an answer besides that the meters are yours and that STss connects to do billings. So you would see that the power consumption is abnormally low, your websites even says no reactive billing so how can it be behind if the system is Live?
Your reply is an excuse not an answer.
