I moved into a Balwin property in Aug 2018, at first I had no issue with Stss and the fees but In the recent months I have had to pay nearly R5000 pm over the last 3months for a 3 bedroom apartment. And to date Stss cannot tell me why or how. Everytime I query they send me back to the estate manager. They’re nothing but *******. They have multiple charges for the same thing everyday aside from the levy that’s paid to the estate.

The nature of your query relates to the physical meter readings. As a result, it is imperative that you contact the Estate Manager directly. The Estate Manager is the operational representative of Kikuyu. In order to attend to your concerns, the physical meters need to be checked as well as the wiring and plumbing thereof- this is part of the Body Corporate common property and is owned by Kikuyu. STss did not install the meters and does not own the meters, as such we do not have the resources, expertise or mandate to do the physical meter checks.
STss performs a metering service on the existing infrastructure. Please contact the Estate Manager, who will provide the required information for the matter to be finalised.
