Terrible Service
I have called your call center 7 times with no solution to the problem of a brand new meter with 30 error on it. As I type this I am sitting in the dark and do not have electricity. Your staff are rude and show no regard to helping a customer. Telling me to go knock on people’s doors to recharge the meter is such bad advice. Such horrible and terrible service from STSS
We have noted with great concern the number of calls that were made by yourself to our Call Centre - we apologise most sincerely for this.
We agree that we could have been more helpful and provided better customer service in trying to resolve the issue.
We despatched our technician to your property last night to investigate why the actual prepaid meter was not functioning as reported to us. Our technician confirmed that there was electricity in your unit and that the prepaid meter was not faulty. We discovered that, although there was electricity in the unit, the plugs circuit breaker on the distribution board was switched off, which meant that there was no power supply to the appliances that you noted were off at the time. The feedback from our technician was that the markings on your distribution board seems to be incorrect, which might have contributed to the confusion.
Whilst we undertake to address the issue of not being sufficiently helpful with the staff members concerned, we strongly urge you to get in touch with an electrician to check your distribution board, to ensure that all the circuit breakers on the distribution board are marked correctly to avoid such an incident in future.
