Stss nothing but *******

I really cant see the value of Balwin Properties associating themselves with this thieving company. I live in a one Bedroom apartment, and absolutely nothing has changed in my behaviour and electricity usage during lockdown, but for some weird reason my electricity has increased by R200 every month, thereby making it impossible to budget. I've requested a detailed breakdown of the charges to my account, and instead they send me an explanation of what the different charges mean. It's the middle of the month and I'm on course to spend over 1k for electricity and water for a 1 bedroom apartment, these charges are completely ridiculous and ontop of that you'll get adjustments out of the blue that leaves you without electricity. I absolutely hate their system and what this company stands for, their support staff are rude and lack any sort of empathy. I love the Estate I love on currently but due to this app theres no way I'll be renewing my lease. If you here to check the reviews on what this system is like, no matter how nice the apartment is that you'll be moving into it's not worth dealing with this utter nonsense every month.

Thank you for contacting STss. Our team of technicians are on site, migrating the Smart Metering Network equipment to fibre and performing the necessary upgrades on the smart metering firmware. This should be complete by the end of the week. This solution was tailored to the site to address the remote billing accuracy of all utilities.

Regarding actual use, we noticed that the water consumption doubled since the lock-down on both utilities, especially water. The charges are based on the actual meters owned by the De Zicht Body Corporate, STss merely takes the readings. Should you wish to verify the accuracy of your meters, please contact your Estate Management team.
