DO NOT MOVE INTO A PROPERTY USING STSS APP - YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!

Extremely expensive electricity. Statements do not reflect the correct amount tenants are charged per unit or kW, monthly statements NEVER have the correct amount. When I calculate it, we are being charged triple the amount of the City of Joburg tariff. They use smart meters, but still manually adjust your meter reading at the end of the month so its like you are charged double. TERRIBLE service when you try to contact them, Thay is IF they feel the need to answer or respond to emails!!!! they are unable to explain their billing. Your account will have a positive balance, and the smart meter will be deducting as normal. Then they adjust your account, take ALL your money (R300 a week) and cut your electricity. Stss IS a ****! We haven't switched our gyser on in two days. We don't use the oven or stove, we barely boil the kettle. No heaters. We don't leave chargers plugged in. And still R80 in ONE DAY?!?!?! Email them telling them how upset you are and NOTHING!!!! It's the worst app even. Worst business ever. CAN NOT WAIT to move out of the property we're currently renting at JUST DUE TO STSS!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for contacting STss.  Greenpark’s utilities are not supp**** by the City of Johannesburg, but rather by the City of Ekurhuleni, who charge a flat rate of R2.34 per kwh for electricity. STss is not a reseller and does not determine the wallet rates.  Regarding account adjustments/ corrections, be advised that the last adjustment on the account was in April 2020 and related to a period prior to the system being migrated to fibre. We can confirm that your unit is being charged in line with the actual meters the past few months, without the need for correction.  We can confirm that your average daily spend in August 2020 is below R20 a day, taking into account the occasional water and effluent charge every six days according to your current use.  If you require assistance with accounting related queries, please email *** and your will be assisted by a qualitied accountant, especially with regards to the interpretation of the statement.
