Charging 6 times more than actual water reading - Stay away - **** company
STSS is one the useless and unprofessional prepaid meter company. From July 2020, have been charged almost 6 times just for water along. Before my monthly water consumption was R230 and all of sudden, STSS charging R1300+. They are unprofessional and useless **** of a company. Their customer care is so pathetic and said, they charge what their system display. COJ must investigate this company and recover my money from them.

We have reviewed your account and our interactions with you and can confirm that the queries escalated have been addressed and supporting photos of the meters owned by the Complex were sent to you. STss is only a meter reading service provider and are not responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of the meters. The meters are the property of the Complex and are therefore maintained by the Complex under the direction of the Estate Manager.
We understand that you are not in agreement with the physical metered use as supported by the Complex owned meters and we note that the Estate Manager confirmed on a mail sent on Monday 28 September 2020 at 1:32 PM that the physical meters would be inspected and it would be confirmed that the meter is correctly associated to your unit.
Once the Complex’s plumbers have investigated, the Trustees will instruct STss on the way forward based on the outcome of the inspection.
