Strictly VW East London are ******, *****sters and ****mers!

I am writing this review to warn other consumers about my shocking experience with Strictly VW East London.

My Volkswagen Tiguan was misfiring, so I took it to them. What followed was a nightmare of overcharging, threats, rudeness, and *****.

1. Held Hostage & Refused a Refund: They charged me R850 for a diagnostic. Their quote to my warranty company was THREE TIMES the normal rate (both labour and parts). When I refused the overpriced repair, they would NOT refund my R850 and THREATENED to charge me storage fees if I didn't fetch my car immediately. I asked for the refund after taking the car back to them to carry out the repairs as per the diagnostics they performed, they refused to refund.

2. Rude and Unprofessional Management: When I went to collect my car, the lady who says she's the manager, Charmaine, was incredibly rude. Her first words were, "What do you want?" – even though SHE had called me to come fetch the car that same day. Completely unacceptable.

3. THE WORST PART: *****ULENT CHARGE FOR WORK NEVER DONE: The main reason my car was there was to replace a faulty coil pack. My warranty was billed R6200 for this "repair". However, when I took my car to a different mechanic to fit new spark plugs, he showed me the old, original coil pack still in the engine! It was never replaced. The engine light was still on when I collected my car, which proves they did nothing.

Summary:

Refused to refund my R850 diagnostic fee.

Threatened me with storage fees.

Extremely rude manager.

CHARGED R6200 FOR A REPAIR THEY NEVER PERFORMED. THIS IS *****.

I demand a full refund of the R850 diagnostic fee and the immediate reversal of the *****ulent R6200 charge. I also expect a public apology.

Avoid this dealership at all costs. They will overcharge you, treat you with contempt, and possibly charge you for work they never do.
