PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO COMMUNICATION AND LYING TO YOUR FACE

Paid for wood on 21 July 2023 with Stompies confirming receipt of order and payment on same day and promising that wood would be delivered between 3 and 5 working days from receipt of order.

However, when I called them on 28 July 2023, Stiaan from Stompies told me that they had over 90 deliveries and that they would deliver on 29 July 2023. After not hearing from him on 29 July 2023, I phoned him and he promised to deliver it by 12h30 on 29 July 2023. However, no delivery and no communication - I tried to call him but his phone went to voicemail, so did the cell phone number for the Pretoria office that is on their website. I then received a WhatsApp message from a Corne telling me that they ran out of black wattle and if they could deliver on Monday - that was at 14h39. My response that I waited and that I needed the wood - needless to say only after I called the Cape Town number of Stompies and got hold of a Tiaan there, I got 15 bags of wood whilst I paid for 30 bags. Btw, these bags were delivered by someone other than this Morne person.

Again I was promised that the other wood would be delivered on 29 July 2023 - it is now 17h26.

I will not recommend this company as it is totally arrogant, do not communicate with its customers and some of their staff lies blatantly to your face.
