I wasn’t going to write this review as I felt that things might be resolved. But after the drivers character-insult I changed my mind.
I placed an order for delivery 3 weeks ago.
On the 28th of June the driver (no longer working there) made arrangements to deliver the wood. I told him I was out of the country but my dad was available and he can take delivery. He said if it’s not today it would be tomorrow morning. I made arrangements with my dad.
When I came back on the 7th I was shocked to find out no wood has arrived. I sent the driver messages and tried calling over the next 2 days with no response.
On Monday I phoned who I presume to be the owner, he was quite shocked and said the wood would be delivered the following morning. Nothing else happened that day. On Wednesday I phoned again and he said I’ll get a call. I received a call from the driver saying the delivery would be today.
At 15:48 on Wednesday he phoned, telling me he is running late and should be there at about 17:00. 17:10 he phoned and said the bakkies clutch gave in. There is another bakkie coming to help and they will see if they can still make the delivery (he still asked how late is to late) otherwise they will do it on Thursday, but he’ll keep me informed.
Thursday morning I phoned the owner again and he said the driver informed him he arranged for today. So I told the owner what the driver said and that he would keep me up to date.
Right after that the driver phoned me and said but he did say this morning. So I told him yes but he also said they would try for last night and he will keep me up to date. He then went on to say he said no such thing and that he had someone next to him that can prove it essentially calling me a ****.
This company is highly unprofessional and unorganised. I’ve been sitting around an entire week trying to accommodate all the delivery times. The next step is to open a case at the police station and sending a takedown notice to their domain provider ENOM. But I’ll give them the rest of the day.
The only positive thing I can say is the owner sounds sincere, answers his phone and phones back on a missed call
