Inferior products

I bought a water pump from Stewarts & Lloyds and after the 3rd time it gave problems, the guys came out to my place to look at the working condition of the pump. (Where I also have another company's pump standing right next to theirs in exactly the same working conditions.) They said that the pump got wet and they will not replace it although still under guarantee. I asked them why does the pump standing right next to it does not get wet inside. They told me that the other pump was better sealed than theirs. They claim that their pumps are built in Italy by Pentax, but I heard that the motor of the pump comes from China and that is why the quality is so poor, but they don't tell the customers that part. The price of their pumps are also much higher than other brands because they are supposedly made in Italy by Pentax. DO NOT BUY PUMPS FROM THEM!!!
