What a bad and awful service I received at sterns

In October last year I bought a watch for someone's birthday as a gift, I was told the watch if the watch is faulty within a year I should bring it back. Last week I went to the store in Mamelodi to notify them of the fault, I was turned back and was told they can't help me with anything I'm an unhappy client they didn't even show any sense of wanting to help or whatsoever. I mean I still have a bank statement showing the date I purchased the watch as I bought it using my bank card, I don't think that even if I could see a jewelery I like at Sterns I would ever but it again. Just a simple request of fixing a watch I bought at that store would bring so much trouble. The service there is really bad. I'm so unhappy
