Wedding ring

A week before my wedding day in March 2015 my husband handed in my wedding ring to have the three loose bands it is made up from soldered together to make one band.<br> In December 2015 I noticed one band was coming loose and another band was cracked! The rings are sterling silver and where the soldering was done it had also started turning yellow.<br> I handed it in at the Irene branch and waited for two weeks without receiving any feedback.<br> I went in on Saturday to find out if there is any news and I was given a quote of approximately R1600!!<br> That is more than the value of the entire ring set!!<br> I am now without my wedding ring thanks to the poor workmanship by Sterns and their ridiculous after sales service regarding their poor workmanship.<br> How do I proceed from here on wards?
