Sterns sells **** gold claiming it is real

In February of 2019 bought an engagement ring form Stern in Carnival Mall, it is a gold and silver ring with a stamp that indicates 8 carrot gold being present. Me and my fiancé split in 2021 and I had recently gathered up the courage to go and sell the ring, 3 different places tested it and none of them found any gold, I had then contacted Sterns and they said they could not refund me. So out of curiosity I had it melted down and it was copper! You can keep the money but may this stain forever remain om your reputation. Never buy from any Sterns, they sell **** jewelry and claim it is real and I am not the only person this has happen to, if you do happen to own gold jewelry from them and have the receipt get it tested, it is likely ****.

It was a silver and gold(which was found to be copper) ring. The pattern on the ring was just your basic silver ring with a stripe of gold running vertically across it. The ring was melted down after your company said that I could not return it because I wanted to be sure that it was infact ****, and it was. Maybe if you were just an honest company like you claimed to be and not just a **** you could have had a chance at fixing the situation, but like I said I had it melted and it was infact copper. I'm glad I did so after acid testing indicated that it might not be gold because you would have just polished it and sold it to someone else. Maybe someone should send an investigator to every branch one day without warning or notice and check everything, you already know what they'll find.

Sterns also has articles written about them and how they sell **** jewelry and inferior quality jewelry without informing the customers
