Sterns false advertising

I bought an eternity ring at sterns in carnival city on the 11th of February. All over the store they are adverting a free teddy bear for every purchase of R499 and more. My purchase came to R1299. When i asked for the Teddy Bear the lady that served me (and she did a good job) told me that they were finished. I then pointed to the Teddy Bears that they using to advertise the Teddy bear promotion and... There were about 8 of them on display and she said she cant give me those as they are there for display purposes. Sterns is false advertising and its against the law and they going to be reported to the consumer board.
