Stern's Diamond ring

I Firstly i would like to say you guys have very unprofessional people working at the STERNS at SOMMERSET MALL in Cape Town, there was a black female who gave my wife a call yesterday and mentioned that the jeweller said that he cannot do anything about the ring cause it was my wifes negligence that the diamond fell off the ring, who gives him the right to say such.

I bought the ring for R7000 on 04 September 2023 and gave in for resizing, then waited for some time and escalated the matter then picked the ring back at the store on 12 September 2023. The girl that assisted us was a coloured girl by the name of Nabila. How we do not know that the people working at the store in the back are not tampering with the rings.

I kept the ring in the safe and on 29 October 2023 we got married and on 30 October 2023 we saw one diamond missing, now you tell me how is that possible? Your jeweller is telling my wife it is her negligence, he needs to take his words back and look into the resizing of the ring that caused the damage.

The Lady was Portia from Ring Assessment Jewellers. We assisted me yesterday, Ref number ***, I escalated this matter numerous times thus far and haven't gotten feedback.

I want the ring fixed and sent back to me today or either you guys will refund my money and i will purchase another ring elsewhere and more additional cost and also be responsible for the time lost and damage caused to my wife, she does not have her ring on her finger.

A lady name Gail from the jewellery department says the professional jeweller says its our fault we lost the diamond and we must pay for it if we want it repaired
