Stern - Eloff Street

Terrible does not even describe the rating. I recently purchase a mobile phone in December at Sterns in Eloff Street, JHB, and the device had fault. It would not charge at all and when it did charge it would just go from 90% to 0% real quick. i returned it on monday, as i had bought it over the weekend, and they insisted i keep it on the charger for at least 24hours, i went back home and did just that but still it would not do anything. i kept charging it the whole week and still nothing so i decided to return it while it till had its 7 days policy.

when i returned it the manager checked the battery and even took out a battery from another identical device and still nothing, so then they told me it will need to go back to the Factory/MTN (between the two) and i will hear from them in 2 - 3 weeks.

here i am after almost 2 months and still have not heard anything. i went to the store personally and the manager confirmed that he has been following up on the report regarding the phone however since then i hve not heard anything. I even ended up bying another phone with my own money, which i never budgeted for as i realy needed it and i told the manager to rather give me a voucher of the same value as the phone since i no longer need it.

i am yet to get a report from them and its approaching two months now.

i am realy disspointed at their service at sterns. the manager has realy played his part and assisted me so i do not hold him responsible.
