Silver not real silver

Was so excited to get a ring for my daughter for her 21st...wore for 9days and the silver is peeling of..ring bent and looks like cheap cosmetic jewelry..what is up with your poor qualify of jewelry?taking it back the weekend and better get a replacement with proper quality
