Ring tears clothes!!

I purchased a sterling silver ring with a cubic zirconia on top a day before Mother’s Day. The ring is uncomfortable to wear as it catches on clothes it literally puts holes in some of my soft feel clothes. Yesterday I went to your Southgate branch to ask if this is normal, a very rude lady told me that I wore the ring so there’s nothing they can do, told her its not even a month old, she told me I will get used to it tearing my clothes. This was never disclosed to when I bought it….otherwise I would bought something else. Please can you tell me way forward.
