Ridiculous manager

I accompanied my wife and a friend to sterns in promenade mall mitchells plain to purchase a fossil watch which was advertised as R2299 wen we got the receipt it says the watch is R2699.I told the .a ager who was helping us that the price says R2299 she says no its a mistake,i told her that the miztake is not ours its hers as she refused to give us the price that was advertised on the watch.she kept saying she cant give it to us for that price.i was furious and went to foschini to find out what policy says about products and the price it is advertised for,they confirmed it should be sold for the advertised price.I went back to sters and the manager says foschini is a clothing store and not a jewelary store,then y does foschini sell jewelary and cellphones?she goes and opens the glass and takes out 3 different price tags laying inside and not 1 of them is a R2299 price tag.she thought she was clever and i then showed her a picture i took of the R2299 tag that fell of the watch as she took it out laying just beneath the where the watch was placed she nust looked at it and could not respond wen i asked wer is this price tag.cheap trick that backfired.i will take the matter further.
