R40,000 Sterns Wedding Ring Falling Apart After 2 Years
My husband bought me a wedding ring from Sterns Tygervalley for R40,000 (valued at R60,000) just over 2 years ago. It has 112 stones, and already 4 have fallen out.
When I took it in for repairs, I was shocked to be quoted over R9,000. For a wedding ring of this price and significance, that is unacceptable.
This is my wedding ring, and it is falling apart after just 2 years. A R40,000 ring should last many years without stones popping out. The Consumer Protection Act requires goods to be of good quality and durable, and this situation clearly fails that standard.
My husband trusted Sterns with one of the most important purchases of his lives. Instead, we are left feeling disappointed, misled, and let down.
