Lay-bye Cancellation difficulty

To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement, I went to Sterns - West Street Eagle, in January 23, to Lay-bye a watch for my Birthday , Come my Birthday my Best Friend bought me a watch as a birthday gift....I forgot about the Lay-bye, and only came across the Receipt whilst cleaning my purse, and I went back to Sterns to cancel the initial Lay-bye, I first went to the store on the 26th of March, I had only the Receipt with me I was told I need my ID document as well, Went back again Thursday the 28th of March and I was Told the Manger is not in and they can only authorize the cancellation I would need to come back, I asked if the Store Manager will be available on Saturday the 1st, they agreed. Went back again for the 3rd time spoke to the Manager and I was told there is no cash instore therefore they cannot perform the Lay-bye Cancellation for Me, at which I was confused and annoyed, because its my 3rd time coming in, AND I confirmed I would be coming in on Saturday, I was meet with very rude and snide comments from the Shop assistance, regarding me confirming that I would come in to cancel when the Manager is on shift....the whole incident was so bad that I actually walked out of the store to avoid being insulted further....I'm really appalled with the service I received I still couldn't cancel the Lay-bye Sterns West street please do Better.
