IS GALAXY &CO PART OF BASH

My engagement and wedding rings were bought at Galaxy and Co 9 years ago...Fast-forward I need both rings to be re appraised and upsized (cos you know life happens).In doing my research I realized that Galaxy doesn't exist anymore having been bought over and incorporated into TFG...So I take both rings to Sterns for the above services and get told they are under no circumstances allowed to take in rings from other jewelers and when asked if Galaxy was not part of their group they very emphatically said no...Because I was in a hurry I didn't stay to argue,yet when I got home I looked it up and again it's mentioned that Galaxy and Co now falls under TFG...
