Inconsistencies of policy at customers expense

On the 26 June 15 my wife purchased me a tempo watch as a gift, this was given to me on my birthday 20 July 15. i adjusted the strap and i was very happy with this watch until two weeks later when the strap broke. We then took it back to the Zevenwaght branch were the salesperson gladly swopped this watch for new one in the display cupboard, she even adjusted the strap for me twice that evening. Very happy we left the branch with my brand new Tempo watch, until i discovered the watch was losing time.
I took it back to the Zevenwaght branch 2 days after the watch was swopped, suddenly we were told we have to wait 8 to 10 weeks for repairs on a new watch. I feel this is unacceptable as the watch was swopped immediately for a broken strap, however as i only had the new watch two days and discovered the time loss now i am without a watch for 8 - 10 weeks.
Come on Sterns where is the consistency in your policy.

Regards
A very dissapointed customer.
