Horrible ring

My husband bought our rings on the same day, i took mine home but his was too big. They took it in to get resized and we only got it back 2 weeks later. The ring is a perfect fit but now his skin on his finger is constantly peeling off and gets badly scarred. He decided to take it back because he cant wear it anymore since his finger is always sore, they told him there is nothing they can do because it was resized already and the lady that was helping him said this sort of thing happened to her as well. That shows that the quality of rings bought at sterns are really bad.
