********** Customer Service and repair turn around

I purchased a Tempo watch last year November for my birthday and on the 06 July I took it back to the Sterns store as the strap broke clean off of the watches face. I was informed that the repair is not covered by the warranty and that I completely understand and that the repair would take about 4 - 6 weeks. I did mention that that is a very long time where I was polity told that I could take it somewhere else. I have called and followed up numerous times even going in store to find out what the status is. Today after I called again to ask please send it back as there is still no feedback I get told they have repaired it without a quote and its on its way back. How can you not quote on a repair and just expect a Client to pay? The customer service is absolutely ********** and I will never recommend this store to anyone
