False advertising

I received an email from *** on 29 May 2023 stating the following : " We're so sorry to tell you that we have not been able to find one or more of the products in your order B*******-** placed on 28 May 2023. We have tried to source it from several locations but could not find stock that was suitable for sale."

However, this couldn't be further from the truth. I checked online and all a sudden, the product is re-priced at a higher price. I paid R 6,561.75 and now it is advertised as R8749 ( Yellow Gold Diamond Women's Magic Pear Halo Ring, Size N, SKU: 01-***3)

If they "couldn't source stock" of the product, then why reprice and advertise the product on your site that same day of sending the email? I checked on 29 May 2023 and there's more than enough of this product at various locations which is clearly in stock. I've checked again on 30 May and there's 13 items in stock at various locations.

They cannot say that they don't have stock because then why advertise it again and at a higher price than before? I have taken screenshots of this. I've also emailed them but still awaiting feedback.

If they made a pricing mistake, then why not just honour it? This is false advertising and dishonesty from your side. I've shopped many times online and companies like Edgars uphold their end of the transaction irrespective if they priced an item wrong.

Please get back to me as soon as possible as you still did not return my money . I want the product as advertised.

P.s I've attached photos of screenshots of the products in my email to you which I sent to ***.
