False advertising

I purchased a bangle at Sterns in Bethlehem (Dihlabeng) last October. The adverti*****t and the salesman, Palesa, claimed it was 100% gold, which I confirmed three times. However, after the bangle became defective, I returned it for repairs and offered to cover the costs myself. Unfortunately, Sterns informed me that the bangle couldn't be repaired and revealed that it was only gold-plated, not 100% gold as initially stated (I took the bangle to another jeweler, he confirmed that the 'gold-plated' might not even be 9ct gold as stated, and the plated is busy wearing off after months of wearing it once a week). I'm extremely dissatisfied with this experience and the false advertising.

Now they are refusing to restore/replace/give my money back, for something that was their fault.
