I am highly disappointed at the service I received from Sterns at Zevenwacht mall Cape Town My wife and I bought the rings in August, a month later my ring turned into a dark grey to black, the silver came off, as for my wife’s ring a stone was missing At the store I was helped by a certain lady named Joy in cleaning the ring and they booked it in to find out why it is turning black. My wife’s ring was also taken to replace the missing stone A week later I collected the rings, lady explained that they polished and buffed both rings. After three days my ring turned black again and the stone in my wife’s ring felt loose. I went back to the store and spoke to the manager named Cindy demanding a refund and to my shock was told I have too much acid in my body that is why the ring is turning black. I guess next time they sell the rings an acidic test must be done and they should explain how much acid level it has to be to wear their rings. If people with too much acid in their body should not buy rings from the store? Make it clear in your adverts of the type of clientele you looking for as far as body acidity is concerned. In any case the rings were taken in for a quality check with the jeweller, I am still waiting for feedback from Manager.
