Bad quality

We purchased my wedding ring in 2018 at Sterns. We sent it in to adjust size , then I started having problems with this ring . 1st the bands snapped , the actual ring started to fade . We sent it back and they polished the ring and fixed the bands and they told me I was too rough with my hands, that's why we are experiencing all these issues . I am a woman and don't work on cars , so I don't understand how someone can say something like this . The one band snapped again and when we made contact with them they told us to pay R4500.00 before they can fix it again .. yesterday when I noticed my ring is a brownish color where they adjusted it - attached photos . A ring is supposed to last and not fade almost 4 years later, especially if you paid for quality . I am very disappointed as I don't have thousands of rands lying around every year to replace my wedding ring. I will never ever purchase anything from Sterns again , and I will not recommend Sterns to anyone . The fact that we have paid a lot of money for a ring that I could only wear and not the complete ring with the bands is pathetic.
