3rd ring on my 5th wedding year, and still experiencing problems

This is not the 1st time I complain about my Forever New ring that I bought from Sterns. 5 years into marriage and the ring I have is the 3rd one. Anyway I got a 3rd ring 2018 from Sterns, since the original I got married with had stones falling odd just few months after buying it. Than they replaced with a new one and same thing kept happening. So 2018 I got a 3rd one and the Diamond Certificate was from American Swiss. So I was adviced to take it in for services to avoid stones falling off, so I did as I was told. Stones started falling off and honestly I just gave up fighting and took it in for repairs.

The ring was repaired and I was charged around R650 I think for repairs. So after few months the big stone of the ring fell off, I was so heart broken since I was told if it goes for repairs they will be able to see stones when they get loose and fasten them. Anyway I took the ring for repairs in February with the stone included. I took it to American Swiss in Hartswater Northern Cape. Lockdown started and I just became patient with the repairs. In May since the business started operating I went to check on my ring, unfortunately it was not there when others came. The lady Masego at Hartswater was off so much help and assisted anyway possible. June went by and was told the workshop cnt fix it so they taking it to quality control.

Last week Tuesday I get a call that quality control says the problem is not the quality of the ring, anyway no surprises here obviously,coz they always never wana take the blame. I was told that they want R2500 to fix the ring. I am asking myself why such a ridiculous amount when I included the stone, and when they fixed my ring before without the stone it was R650. Is their labour that expensive when the stone is included, and the labour becomes cheap when the stone is not included? I honestly just want clarity on that. I am very dissapointed with the quality of my ring. Honestly I don't see myself buying anything from American Swiss nor Sterns. 5 years in marriage and I am on my 3rd ring, yet they saying the problem is not the quality of their ring. I am done fighting with these shops, all I want to know is why pay such a huge amount to fix it while the stone is included for them to put it on the ring.
