What Load Shedding?!!!
Last night I went to Star-Kinekor at The Grove Mall in Pretoria East to watch a movie with my partner. We booked at Prestige for the comfort and booked to watch Bad Boys For Life.
We arrived and bought large popcorn, drinks and sweets for the movie but unfortunately 15mins into the movie the power went out and we were told that its load shedding. When there was no scheduled load shedding. We were then given movie readmission vouchers, to come back and watch a movie any time in the year. To our surprise, when leaving the mall, there was actually no load shedding in the area and this seemed a terrible mistake to make, considering the money spent on popcorn and snacks and drinks into the movie. Now there will be another cost for the snacks and drinks into the movie because there was a power failure but the assistants chose to lie to us and say it was load shedding.
Its a very inconveniencing situation considering that they could have explained what actually happened instead of lying. Now we have to incur more costs when visiting the cinema again.
