Unsatisfactory Service and Disappointment in the Ster Kinekor brand
Upon having a bad customer experience at Nu Metro, Canal Walk towards the end of 2017 I attempted to try out Ster Kinekor, Tygervalley and after grabbing a movie there, in the hopes of a better customer experience I pursued a Ster Kinekor membership . The person helping me seemed helpful and I was told I would receive a confirmation sms/email 10-15 minutes later. Since applying for a Ster Kinekor membership last year I have not received any sms notification or email to date. Only today (27/01/2018), after contacting ********** and logging my complaint, the only thing that was said was a generic apology for my inconvenience and that my card was activated. While I am thankful for this confirmation, I feel my experience cannot be left at that. These large companies tend to forget that being in a customer related environment that we are the small-fries, however its the customers who make or brake the company itself. For 2, nearly 3 months I have not gotten any confirmation of my Ster Kinekor card and I am actually rather disappointed because after having a bad experience at Ster Kinekor I was having high expectations for Ster Kinekor. I'm unemployed yet people such as myself spend R200-300 including both movie and snacks, per person on every visit to Ster Kinekor.
I'm not sure if its your marketing department which is at fault however it is unacceptable as far as the customer is concerned. Customers should not be treated like this. This is not the first impression I was hoping for Ster Kinekor - You have let me down. I'm hoping Ster Kinekor note my complaint, take note of the inconvenience it has caused me and rectify this.
