Unhelpful booking system for the disabled

Cinema Noveau seating plans thoughtfully leave spaces without seats in the back row for patrons who have to sit in a wheel-chair. However, the adjacent seats are open for general booking. The result is that caregivers as well as patrons with limited mobility have no access to these rear seats, unless they book far in advance. I have suggested to Management more than once that a few back-row seats alongside the wheelchair spaces be kept for preferential booking by those who are in need of ease of access, instead of struggling, sometimes dangerously, with stepped aisles in the semi-dark. These seats can be released for general purchase if unsold by the day of the performance. The New York Met opera matinees have lots of old folk as patrons,and more consideration for this should be taken. Please give us an answer why this is not done?
