Uncomfortable movie experience due to no Aircons in a full theatre

My Wife and I went to Cresta mall to watch the new Bad Boys. We dont usually watch at Cresta but it was the closest cinema that had tickets/seats available when we checked online. Being a new movie we understood that the theater would be full.

Anyway long story short the place was fully booked an we walked into the movie early to get settled, I then noticed it was awfully hot and went out to ask one of the staff to check the aircons were on and was told sure thing sir. Guess what the entire movie played in the blazing heat of the room. People were fanning themselves taking off their jackets. It was very stuffy and uncomfortable.

I saw a friend in the cinema and when I spoke to him, he said wow the theater was so hot inside an he 2 asked for them to check the aircons and this was not done.

It really spoils the experience after paying a premium price. Not 2 mention that my pizza only came 45 minutes into the movie an prior to that I used the touch screen to order my pizza an tapped my card, it said successful or approved then the system didn't give me a ticket for the pizza, lucky the transaction didn't appear in my account and re-did the transaction.

Please speak to the cresta management/maintenance people to ensure the aircons are operational, if they dont work or off due to load shedding constraints please let the people know. Note this is not the first time I experienced this at Cresta . The same happen to me about a year ago. I really thought this wouldn't happen at cresta an was a once off thing.

I'm sure if you sent a random inspector there they would find the aircon being switched off.

Very dissatisfied and disappointing experience.
