Transpacrency/Signage

This morning, like a number of other mornings I met up with 2 friends at Ster Kinekor Cradlestone to watch a movie together. And like all the other mornings, we purchased coffee from McDonalds and our popcorn and water from Ster Kinekor. Upon purchasing the tickets from your self help kiosk that was giving me trouble, I was informed by a lady that we were not allowed to take in our coffee purchased from McDonalds. To my surprise I told the lady that this was the first time that we were actually informed of this and due to the self help kiosk taking so long I could not finish the coffee before entering. She said that she would have to refer the matter to the manager for authorisation. When we walked up the stairs to the same lady I noticed a gentleman standing at the door to my left. I asked her if she called the manager and she waived him over. Now I am not sure if he expected me to walked over to him but nonetheless he walked up to us. He said that there was a sign at the start of the stairs (which I brought to his attention only mentions food) but he rudely said it includes beverages. Let's be honest, I can assume a number of things to be included but is not mentioned on the sign
