The Lion King Disaster
I went to see The Lion King at the Gateway Theatre - I had been waiting to go and see this for a long time and was really excited for the experience, I got to the Popcorn line and they only had one spice station open which was ridiculous as it did not cater at all for the amount of people waiting to spice their popcorn, also will mention that there was a lady standing there filling the spices as people were trying to spice their popcorn! Not very professional...the salt and vinegar spice had been mixed with the butter spice, also not very nice to experience, anyway we get to our seats and the ads come on...and the trailers come on...and then the movie but THE LIGHTS ARE STILL ON, This ruined my opening experience of the movie I had waited so long to see, I had to go and find someone to turn the lights off AND half way through the movie the LIGHTS COME BACK ON AGAIN! Back out of the movie to find someone to turn the lights back off....This was a very disappointing experience for my boyfriend and I, I have noticed a steady decline in my movie experiences at Ster-Kenikor, and I will not be returning to watch movies here again in a hurry.

I would like to follow up on this review and let everyone know that I DID NOT receive a call, or any communication what-so-ever from Ster-kinekor, disgusting service. I could not recommend Ster-kinekor even if I wanted to, so disappointing to see the decline in service, going to Sterkinekor as a little girl was my most favorable experience. I guess I will have to find another movie theatre to rely on for my experiences in future.
